Grammy 2013 | Somebody That I Used To Know | I Will Wait

It certainly was an unforgettable night for music at this year's Grammy ceremony. That’s why I decided to pick two songs from this year’s winner list for today’s entry. Sunday's show saw awards for British diva Adele, New York trio Fun and Australian singer Gotye, with the coveted album of the year prize going to British band Mumford and Sons. Lawson | Learn to Love Again | When She Was Mine

“Learn to Love Again” is the single I most among a number of Lawson’s songs. The track really made me impressed with its great melody when I first listened to it a few days ago. “Learn To Love Again” is a rousing effort that blends their usual breezy guitar melodies with strobing synths and an anthemic, cooing chorus. The song is the fourth single from the British pop rock band’s debut studio album “Chapman Square.” “When She Was Mine” is the band’s debut single. Miley Cyrus | Morning sun | See you again

Miley Cyrus released a track for the Fourth of July called Morning Sun last year. I really love this song as it expresses the happy feeling of a young girl in love desire. The song is a collaborative effort with Rock Mafia. It appears on Rock Mafia’s EP, Mixtape Vol. 1. “See you again” is another great song by Miley Cyrus. You can download the songs on Diigo.

Of Monsters and Men | Little Talks | King And Lionheart

I heard a marvelous song online a few weeks ago. It deserves listening to, sharing and praise. The song is Little Talks by the Icelandic indie folk/indie pop rock band Of Monsters and Men, an engaging track that's earning comparisons to Mumford & Sons. The song was released as the lead single from their debut studio album, My Head Is an Animal (2012). It's written in brooding and elegant B flat minor. King And Lionheart is the band's latest single.

The Wanted | I Found You | Chasing The Sun

The Wanted have had a handful of hits and one of those is “I Found You.” Produced by Steve Mac, the track is the second single from the group’s album “Third Strike.” The single opens with the same bouncing synths from their breakthrough hit “Glad You Came” but it soon moves into a lengthy chorus sung entirely in falsetto. I think the band’s previous single “Chasing the sun” is much better. This post is a request by Mark from Gamer Board. He is a huge fan of the British boy band.

Love is an eternal topic in music and I have two other love songs for you today. "Finally Found You" is the lead single released from Spanish-bilingual recording artist Enrique Iglesias' untitled tenth studio album. The song received its worldwide premiere on August 24, 2012. It is a sweet love confession from a man to the girl he loves. "Taking Back My Love" is another great love song. I am also a fan Ciara. It is sad that Ciara hasn't had hit songs recently.

I am a huge fan of The Fray and I think it is not fair when their latest album could not top Billboard chart. "Heartbeat" is the first single from the album. The song is driven by a beautiful piano melody. I just love the song. “Run for your life” is the band’s second single from the album. I was very disappointed that the song was rejected from soundtracks like Breaking Dawn  and The Hunger Games.

Alex Clare | Too close | Hummingbird

I must admit I’m not the biggest fan of Alex Clare’s music. I know he is a talented singer and songwriter but I don’t see the appeal until I listen to his hit “Too Close.” The song manages to endow dubstep beats with mainstream appeal. Its lyrics focus on a guy who realizes his romance and makes a clean break. “Too Close” is a fine choice for younger kids who like electronic music. "Hummingbird" is Alex's latest single.
