Lawson | Learn to Love Again | When She Was Mine

“Learn to Love Again” is the single I most among a number of Lawson’s songs. The track really made me impressed with its great melody when I first listened to it a few days ago. “Learn To Love Again” is a rousing effort that blends their usual breezy guitar melodies with strobing synths and an anthemic, cooing chorus. The song is the fourth single from the British pop rock band’s debut studio album “Chapman Square.” “When She Was Mine” is the band’s debut single. Follow me on Opera for the latest news of the band.

Learn to Love Again

There's a place we know
What's cold won't enough won't grow
we have seen the dark
And the darkness took it's toll
And the journey waits for no one
If no one breaks the mould
And our hearts are stronger than we know

Oohhh

That you and I could learn to love again
After all this time
Maybe that is how I knew you were the one
That you could still believe in me again
After all our trials
Maybe that is how I knew you were the one?

To awake and know we made it through the storm
And someone saves their sweet embrace
For you and you alone

That you and I could learn to love again
after all this time
Maybe that is how I knew you were the one
That you could still believe in me again
after all our trials
Maybe that is how I knew you were the one?

Silence says we remember
We remember
Two lost souls in the shadow
In the shadows
That is how I knew you were the one
And that is how I knew you were the one.

When She Was Mine

Everywhere I go
Everything I do
Reminds me of you

Just a picture on the wall
I'm surrounded by it all
Gotta walk before I fall, yeah

Fall out, out on the street
Streetlight, light over for me
So far from where I used to be

When she was mine
Everything was easy
Everything was simple
Never felt so good
When she was mine
I wanted to remember
Never missed a second
Now I wish I could forget

Forget when she was mine, mine, yeah
When she was mine, mine, yeah

What I miss the most
Is talking up all night
We laughed until we cried

Now I'm breaking at the seams
Droping to my knees
Nothing left of me, no

Like stone turned into dust
My heart wasn't enough
So far from where I used to be

When she was mine
Everything was easy
Everything was simple
Never felt so good
When she was mine
I wanted to remember
Never missed a second
Now I wish I could forget

Forget when she was mine, mine, yeah
When she was mine, mine, yeah
When she was mine

Wonder if she's out there
Wonder where she goes, she goes
Wonder what she's doing
Will I ever know, yeah

Everything was easy
Everything was simple
Never felt so good
When she was mine
I wanted to remember
Never missed a second
Now I wish I could forget

Forget when she was mine, mine, yeah
When she was mine, mine, yeah

Down on my knees
Gotta see her, gotta see her, gotta see her
Tried to forget
But I need her, but I need her, but I need her

Down on my knees
Gotta see her, gotta see her, gotta see her
Tried to forget
But I need her, but I need her.

When she was mine
